Fees at SmartClinics

Fee Structure

At SmartClinics, Doctors are committed to providing high quality healthcare that is also affordable. Each SmartClinics family medical centre is unique and therefore, fee structures across our network can vary from clinic to clinic and from Doctor to Doctor. Despite this, we are committed to keeping any out of pocket costs relating to your consultation as low as possible.

Ultimately your consultation fee will depend on the amount of time you need for your appointment and the Doctor that is providing the treatment. Please visit our Locations page for more specific fee information.

Convenience of In-Clinic Claiming

We’ve introduced electronic claiming within each of our clinics, saving you a trip to the Medicare office. We also offer a number of concessions, as listed below. Our aim is to provide you with high quality, hassle-free health care at an affordable price. Our hi-tech online booking system ensures that we allocate the correct amount of time for each patient appointment, to help your appointment start on time.

After Hours & Weekend Appointments

For your convenience, a number of SmartClinics family medical centres are open extended hours, 7 days per week. Our Chermside clinic located at Westfield Chermside as an example is open from 7am til late, 364 days a year. There is a small additional charge if you need to visit our clinics outside of standard business hours, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

If, as part of your consultation, you require care in our treatment room, you may incur additional fees relating to the application of dressings or the provision of onsite medications/vaccinations/immunisations etc.

If you have any questions about our fee structure, we encourage you to call our friendly reception team, whom you will find informative and professional when discussing these matters.

Kids Pricing

We are committed to keeping healthcare costs low for young families, which is why many of our clinics offer discounted fees for children.

Aged Care Pension Card Holders

We are committed to looking after our senior citizens who are finding it increasingly difficult to manage the weekly budget whilst looking after their health. So if you hold an approved aged care pension card and you visit the clinic Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm, your appointment will be discounted by the treating Doctor.
