Dr Suvarna Chavan is a highly experienced General Practitioner with a medical career spanning over three decades. She obtained her medical degree more than 30 years ago and later completed her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) after over ten years of practice in a rural and remote setting.

Dr Chavan enjoys all aspects of general practice, with a particular passion for women’s health. She takes a holistic, patient-centred approach, always taking the time to listen and develop individualised treatment plans that meet each patient’s unique needs.

Her special interests include women’s health procedures such as IUD insertions, other birth control implant insertions, iron and vitamin infusions, chronic disease management, driver’s licence medicals, general skin checks and minor skin excisions.

Dr Chavan is deeply committed to improving the health and wellbeing of her patients and takes pride in making a positive impact on their lives.
