New patients welcome
Doctors at SmartClinics West End offer mixed billing and private billing options. Please contact reception for a list of fees. The fee could vary depending on the day, time and length of your appointment. Bulk Billing is available on week days (Monday to Friday) for DVA Gold card holders, Aged Pension card holders and children under the age of 12 years. No bulk billing on weekends. Please note: Dr Innes Campbell and Dr Stephanie Sheu are private billing doctors (no bulk billing). Dr Innes will bulk bill DVA patients only.
Patients are asked to pay in full on the day of consultations. We accept contactless and card payments to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. For your convenience we can process your claim through Medicare online and your rebate will be deposited into your nominated bank account within 24/48 hours, provided that you have registered your bank details with Medicare.

Paying for your Appointment
Our clinic now uses HotDoc to securely process payments for your appointments that are booked online, over the phone, on in person. When you book your next appointment, you may be prompted to enter your credit/debit card details into HotDoc before your appointment. The fee will NOT be deducted until after your appointment. Telehealth
Telehealth is available to current patients only who have physically seen a GP at this clinic in the past 12 months.
When you book a telehealth appointment at West End, you will now receive an SMS from us requesting your credit card details to hold your booking. This SMS will come from HotDoc and is secure and safe to use. No funds will be deducted from your card until after your appointment. Recalls and reminders
It is best practice to operate a recall system for abnormal results for pathology, radiology or specialist. Your local SmartClinics has a recall system in place and we ask for your understanding and acceptance of this policy. If necessary, you will be contacted by one of the Doctors or Practice Nurse – by letter, phone or SMS – usually to make an appointment concerning these results.
Cancellation Policy
As you can appreciate the doctors have allocated a specific time to see you. As a result, please be aware that there is a $50 cancellation fee for non-attendance or if less than 24 hours’ notice is provided.
West End Psychologist
We have a preferred psychologist working in the clinic that takes referrals from our GPs. If you have any concerns that may be addressed by a psychologist, such as anxiety, depression or relationship problems, we can help.
Transferring Medical Records
If you would like your medical records transferred to another doctor, our policy is that a summary of your record is forwarded. Copies are forwarded directly to the doctor after we receive written authorisation signed by the patient and the new doctor. We hold the original records for medico-legal reasons. A fee may be charged to cover the costs in printing, posting and checking of the records – you will be notified if a fee is to be charged.

Fees
Please contact reception for a list of fees. The GPs at this practice operate Mixed Billing, and a fee is payable on the day for most consultations, including telehealth.
Dr Stephanie Sheu privately bills all pensioners and children of all ages except for when attending their immunisations or chronic disease management. Dr Sheu has made fee structure changes to ensure she can provide quality comprehensive care to her patients. All other doctors at the clinic are available to bulk bill old age pension card holders and children under age 12.
Dr Jacqueline Kelly is available for private Telehealth appointments on weekdays, in addition to face to face consultations on Sundays. There is no bulk billing for Telehealth or face to face appointments with Dr Kelly. Dr Kelly is currently not accepting new DVA patients. Dr Nar (June) is a private billing GP. No bulk billing. Discounted fees for pensioners and children only offered at doctor’s discretion.
